An exhibit of 1 in 8: The Torso Project will appear at the Hosmer Gallery at the Forbes Library, Northampton MA, from January 6 to January 29, 2016.
Artists’ reception is Saturday January 9 from 2- 4 pm (snow date Wed January 9, 5:30-7:30); members of Spirit of the Written Word writing groups for people affected by cancer will hold a reading on Saturday January 23 from 2- 4 pm (snow date Wed January 27, 5:30-7:30 pm).
At the events copies of the book 1 in 8: The Torso Project will be for sale. Both events are free and open to the public.
The exhibit is a collaboration with Cancer Connection with funding support from Rays of Hope.

We are delighted to announce that there will be an exhibit of 1 in 8: The Torso Project at the Northampton branch of Greenfield Savings Bank, 325 King St, Northampton MA, from June 10 to July 10, 2014.
A reception will be Tuesday June 17 from 5- 7 pm with light refreshments and with music by Loren Feinstein. Copies of the book about 1 in 8: The Torso Project Â will be available for purchase. Please come! It is free and open to the public.
The exhibit is open during bank lobby hours. The lobby is open from 9:00 â€“ 4:30 Monday through Wednesday with extended hours from 9:00 â€“ 6:00 on Thursday, 9:00 â€“ 5:00 on Friday, and from 9:00 â€“ Noon on Saturdays.
The exhibit is presented by Greenfield Savings Bank, Cancer Connection (Northampton, www.cancer-connection.org)Â and 1 in 8: The Torso Project (www.torsoproject.org). Torsos and torso photos in the exhibit are from workshops supported by Rays of Hope and the VT/NH Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

There will be an exhibit in the library of Greenfield Community College from October 9- November 8, with an opening reception on Wednesday October 9 from 4- 6 pm.
On Wednesday October 23 from 5- 7 pm. the book about 1 in 8: The Torso Project launches in Greenfield at 9 Mill St Studio. The artist and breast cancer activist, Matuschka, www.matuschka.net, who has written the foreword for the book, will attend the book launch. The next day, Thursday Oct 24 at noon she will present a program at the library of GCC.
